Congratulations to The Book Depository a well deserved Queen's Award for International Trade

Congratulations to The Book Depository which has been awarded the 2010 Queen's Award for International Trade, with 60% of its revenue last year coming from overseas. I'm probably biased because this on line retailer has been and still is a great supporter of my crime novels and they are featured prominently on their crime pages I am pleased to say with special offers. In fact, I am told they sell a great many books overseas because there are no postal charges, so the prices you see on the web site are what you pay.

The Book Depository has won the award for increasing its turnover by 51.7% in the last year to £61m despite the recession. This year they expanded to include a dedicated US site and e-book store. They sell books with free delivery to customers in over 90 countries.

The people who worked there are great guys too!  Well done Steve and Kieron.
