On AIR today with Julian Clegg on BBC Radio Solent and Darren Gamblen on Express FM 93.7

I'm on the radio today talking first to Julian Clegg on BBC Radio Solent at about 7.20 am and then to Darren Gamblen on Express FM 93.7 where I'll be talking about the publication of the new Inspector Andy Horton marine mystery crime novel, Footsteps on the Shore and the search to find the UK's best young crime writer with the launch of the 2011 Young Crime Writers Competition organised by the Crime Writers Association and sponsored by CRIMEFEST.

For the second year running I'm delighted to be the judge for the southern region. The winner will go forward for the national prize which is being announced during National Crime Writing Week which commences on 13 June. Participating libraries for the south are: Portsmouth, Southampton, the Isle of Wight and West Sussex. The competition is open to those under 18 years. More details on my web site.
