Writing Compelling Crime Fiction Workshop on 18 June 2011

Just a quick reminder that on Saturday 18 June during National Crime Writing Week, Quay Arts Centre in Newport on the Isle of Wight is offering budding crime writers the opportunity to work with me on How to Write a Compelling Crime Novel.

The workshop promises to be fun and interactive, packed with practical advice on constructing plots and subplots, building believable characters, generating suspense, adding red herrings and exploring techniques that will grip editors, agents and readers alike. It is suitable for all levels of ability.

I'm looking forward to it.
