A criminal element at the Women's Institute

Last night I dropped a criminal element into the sedate and serene tempo of the WI on my home patch, Hayling Island.

Actually they were a very lively bunch of ladies, extremely friendly and very interested in the exploits of my detective, the rugged and flawed DI Andy Horton, and the adventures of my two thriller heroes, Adam Greene in In Cold Daylight and Alex Albury in In For The Kill.

It was a very pleasant way to spend a Wednesday evening.
