Enjoyed meeting the volunteers at Read for Life and talking to them about DI Horton crime novels and my thrillers

Read For Life is a community interest company that trains and supports volunteers to help primary school children with their reading, not only in Portsmouth but also in the surrounding  South East Hampshire boroughs.

Yesterday I gave a talk to the volunteers about how I write the marine mystery crime novels featuring DI Andy Horton  and my thrillers, In Cold Daylight and In For The Kill. They were such a lovely group of people doing a very worthwhile and rewarding job.

Reading helps boost self confidence and self esteem it also gives children and adults countless hours of pleasure.

Undercurrent, the latest DI Andy Horton mystery, number nine in the series, is published by Severn House in hardcover and will be available as an e book and on Kindle, Nook and Kobo on 1 May 2013.
