What's on the cards for 2015 for crime author Pauline Rowson

2015 promises to be an exciting year with the publication of the first in a brand new crime series, featuring a new hero, former marine commando, special boat services officer, Art Marvik, in Silent Running which will be published by Severn House in March 2015.

Adrift after leaving the marines, Marvik unexpectedly finds himself being  used as bait to catch a ruthless killer whose slaying spree spans the decades. His mission to stop a ruthless killer before he kills again.

Edwin Buckhalter, Chairman of Severn House Publishers, says, ‘Silent Running has all the hallmarks of a good  Rowson novel, the setting and atmosphere, the sailing and boats, interesting  characters, and the intricate, complex plot. It is certainly something that will excite her existing fans and bring  in new readers.’

Also in 2015  will be the publication of the latest in the DI Andy Horton series, Fatal Catch.  Fatal Catch is the twelfth DI Andy Horton Marine Mystery. It is scheduled to be published in September 2015.

Before then Death Surge, the ninth in the Horton series, will be published in paperback in March.

And you can catch up with Shroud of Evil, number eleven in the series, in ebook format or hardcover.

While these are being published in 2015 I will be putting the finishing touches to the second in the Art Marvik crime series and the thirteenth in the DI Andy Horton series, ready for publication in 2016. - talk about looking ahead!

In between I will again be entertaining audiences across the UK with tales of murder, mystery and mayhem as I talk about how I write, research and plot my crime novels. In January I will be giving a talk to the ladies of the Southampton Tangent Club.

You can see my diary of events on the Events Page of this website. I'm looking forward to meeting lots of people throughout the year, some who are already fans of the flawed and rugged DI Andy Horton and others who I hope will go on to discover and enjoys his adventures, and those of my hunky former marine, Art Marvik.

There is further exciting news to come in 2015, which will be announced here and on Twitter and my Facebook page.

If you would like to be kept up to date with the book news, talks and  latest news then you can also subscribe to my newsletter which is usually issued ever 5/6 weeks, unless there is something so exciting that it simply can't wait that long!

Here's wishing you a very happy, healthy and safe 2015.
