New crime novels from Pauline Rowson in the DI Andy Horton series and the Art Marvik marine crime series

This coming year and into 2017 sees the publication of two new crime novels, one in the DI Andy Horton police procedural series and one in the marine crime series, featuring Art Marvik, along with more of my DI Andy Horton crime novels and my Art Marvik marine crime series published in different formats. Here is a round up of the latest publications.

Fatal Catch a DI Andy Horton Mystery

January 2016 kicked off with Fatal Catch, the twelfth in the DI Andy Horton mystery series, published in hardcover in the USA and being released as an e book.

'Plenty of red herrings and a surprising culprit. Series fans will appreciate additional clues about the unsolved murder of Horton’s mother, Jennifer, more than 30 years earlier.' Publishers Weekly.

In October 2016,  Fatal Catch will be published in paperback and Large Print.  It is currently available in  hardcover, and as an ebook on Amazon Kindle and Kobo.

Detective Inspector Andy Horton is called out to examine a gruesome catch by two fishermen: a human hand. Is it that of missing violent criminal Alfie Wright – or is he the killer? And where is the rest of the corpse?   Soon Horton finds himself immersed in a complex case where everyone has a reason to lie and no one is who they seem. Assailed by doubts both in his personal and professional life, Horton desperately tries to keep his emotional feelings under control and his focus on his work. His instincts tell him to trust no one and believe nothing; he’s not sure though whether this time he’ll succeed

Dangerous Cargo, the second in the Art Marvik marine crime series

For his second mission Marvik is detailed to attend the funeral of a man who’d officially been declared dead fifty-five years earlier. So who is the imposter and why did he assume the name of a dead man and show up in a Dorset coastal town in 1989, hook up with a local fishing family, and after fathering a child, disappear in 1990? Marvik begins to uncover a trail of deceit, corruption and murder that spans over half a century, and a ruthless killer who will stop at nothing to make sure that the sins of the past stay in the past.

September 1st 2016 sees the publication in hardcover in the USA of Dangerous Cargo (Art Marvik) and the publication  of Dangerous Cargo in ebook format Worldwide, published by Severn House.
