What's on in March - Crime author Pauline Rowson
March kicks off with the publication in paperback of Death Surge ( DI Andy Horton 10) and ends with the
publication in hardcover of the first in an explosive new marine crime series, Silent Running, featuring
former Marine Commando, Art Marvik. In between there are
talks and a radio appearance on BBC Radio Solent.
A telephone call from a frantic Sergeant Cantelli to say that his nephew, Johnnie Oslow, is missing cuts short Detective Inspector Horton’s sailing trip to France. Summoned back to the Isle of Wight, Horton learns that Johnnie has not shown up for racing during Cowes Week, as previously arranged. The investigation is ranked low priority but events take a very different turn when the charred remains of a body are discovered in one of the disused tunnels at the Hilsea Lines in Portsmouth.
Death Surge is available from all good bookshops and on line - £6.99. It is also available for loan in UK, USA and Commonwealth Libraries.

The first in a brand new crime series featuring a new hero, former Royal Marine Commando, Special Boat Services Officer, Art Marvik is published by Severn House.
Silent Running, like the DI Horton novels, is set against the backdrop of the sea
Adrift after leaving the marines, Marvik finds himself being used as bait to catch a ruthless killer whose slaying spree spans the decades.
It's a mission that will put all his skills and training to the test- a dangerous assignment that could cost him his life.
Tough, fearless and fit, Marvik is not bound by the rules of the law
Also in March I'll be giving two talks and appearing on BBC Radio Solent.
