What's on in April for crime writer Pauline Rowson

I'm delighted to announce that April see the release of two of my crime novels in new formats, Undercurrent, the ninth in the DI Andy Horton police procedural series is to be published as an unabridged audio book on 1 April, while Silent Running, the first in the series featuring former Royal Marine Commando, Special Boat Services officer Art Marvik will be published in paperback.

The audio book of Undercurrent, is being published by Soundings part of Isis  Publishing, the World’s leading publisher of unabridged audio books. It is also available as an ebook and in paperback.

Naval historian Dr Douglas Spalding is found dead in Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard. It looks like suicide but Horton goes out on a limb to prove otherwise. They are read by Gordon Griffin and available in  CD, cassette and MP3 CD format

Silent Running was published in hardcover and as an book by Severn House in 2015. Adrift after leaving the marines, Marvik finds himself being used as bait to catch a ruthless killer whose slaying spree spans the decades.It's a mission that will put all his skills and training to the test- a dangerous assignment that could cost him his life.

Also in April I will be appearing on That's Solent TV not once but twice and the programme will be repeated so lot's of chances for viewers in the Solent area to listen to me talking with Chrissie Pollard about my crime novels and also local and national topical issues.

The first programme will be shown on April 8 at 10pm and on 9 April at 10am and 4pm and the second programme on April 22 at 10pm and on 23 April at 10am and 4pm on Freeview Channel 8 in the Solent area.

The London Book Fair


I am also looking forward to catching up with the wonderful team at Severn House, my publisher, at the London Book Fair and meeting up with my European Agent plus other colleagues and friends in the book trade.

Also in April look out for a special promotion on Kobo on DI Andy Horton, Tide of Death, the first in the series, starts on 7 April for one week.
