The London Book Fair beckons next week - looking forward to meeting up with agents and publishers there

In a week's time the London Book Fair will have kicked off, lasting for three days from 11 April to 13 April. I attend every year and this year I, and certainly others in the book business, hope that we will be volcanic ash free!  Last year the volcano over Iceland caused severe disruption to travel arrangements with flights suspended and many people, including my overseas agents, unable to make the London Book Fair, although I was there!

LBF gives me the chance to meet up with my agents from Spain, Italy, Brazil and France and of course my publisher, Severn House and others in the publishing, TV and film industries. It'll also be great to catch up on news with the friends and contacts I have in the publishing world and have a good old gossip!

Attending the London Book Fair provides an ideal opportunity to visit some of the specialist seminars that take place, as well as update my agents and others about the latest of my marine mystery crime novels featuring my flawed detective DI Andy Horton and my crime thriller novels.  I'm very much looking forward to it.
