Solent U3A and DI Andy Horton Crime Novels - Pauline Rowson talking to members of the Solent U3A

Over a hundred people from the Solent U3A turned out to hear me talk about my flawed and rugged detective, DI Andy Horton on the 11th June at Fareham, Hampshire.

A captive audience Pauline Rowson talking about her crime novels at Solent U3A

I entertained members of the audience with tales of the dogged Portsmouth cop and explained how I plot, research and write my crime novels set on the South Coast of England.

I talked about the inspiration behind the Horton novels and my two standalone crime novels, In Cold Daylight and In For The Kill. After the talk there followed a lively Q & A session and a book signing.

Ambition, adultery, murder... DI Andy Horton has only a week to find a killer

Is it simply a senseless murder by an unhinged killer or does someone close to the head have a motive for murder? As Horton delves deeper into the investigation, aided by Sergeant Cantelli, the tension mounts. With the clock ticking Horton is soon forced to take a decision that will put his life on the line . . .

Please leave a Book Review on Amazon

Recommendation is a great way to spread the news and for books this comes not only through word of mouth but through reviews.  There are several reviews for the DI Andy Horton crime novels and the two thrillers, In Cold Daylight and In For The Kill on Amazon, ranging from 4 and 5* reviews to those lower down the pecking order!   Reviews help an author and books to generate higher visibility. So please do take time to leave a review on Amazon even if it is a one line sentence.

And for those of you have already done so, thank you.
