Finished writing DI Andy Horton crime novel number 9, now working on revisions

Yes, I finished writing the final chapters of DI Horton crime novel number nine on Friday and over the weekend I started the revisions. It's always a great relief to finish writing the first draft of a novel and to get those final chapters on the PC because now having worked out the who, when, whys and how I can breathe a sigh of relief.

Now comes the stage of most probably several revisions, making sure it all hangs together, the clues are there (and the red herrings) the characters are fleshed out, their actions and motivations believable, the tension holds and the climax is as it should be, thrilling and rewarding.
