What's on in June for Crime Author Pauline Rowson

June is a relatively quiet month in terms of speaking engagements and events for me so it's time appropriately enough for me to crack on with writing the ninth in the DI Andy Horton series because June is also hailed as Crime Writing Month.

A Killing Coast, a DI Horton crime novel by Pauline RowsonCrime Writing Month  is organised by the Crime Writers Association (CWA)  and has chosen to feature A Killing Coast, the seventh in the Horton series as one of the hottest new publications of the year listed on its website.

A Killing Coast is set in the Solent area on the South Coast of England and was published by Severn House earlier in the year. The eighth in the Horton series, Death Lies Beneath, will be published next month in July.

I've completed the first draft of DI Horton number nine and am now working on the second draft. I hope to have the novel completed by the end of July, so I'd better get writing and very fast!

More details about  Crime Writing Month can be found on the website with a list of recommended reads.
