What's on in July 2015 - talks, radio interviews, new crime novel published as e book and in USA

July kicks off in a heatwave and the first of three appearances for me.  It's also publication day in the USA for the red hot new crime novel, SILENT RUNNING, the first in a brand new series featuring former marine commando, Art Marvik. Silent Running is also published as an ebook on July 1st and there is the chance to win a copy in a competition.

On 1 July I'll be giving an after lunch talk to the gentlemen of New Forest North Probus Club. I only hope the room is air conditioned! It might be too hot for them - temperature wise that is, not the content of my talk  which will be how I plot, plan, research and write my crime novels. Let's hope the heat, food and drink doesn't send them to sleep.  I'll have to be especially entertaining!  Photos and more on this blog later.

Next up is an interview on BBC Radio Solent with the lovely Julian Clegg on his Breakfast Show on Monday 6 July at 7.25 am. And if you're not listening in  at the time then you can play it back on  BBC iplayer after the show.  I'll post the link on this blog after the interview. It's always great to talk to Julian Clegg on his programme which I do every three months.  I love giving radio interviews.  I'll be telling him and his listeners about the new Art Marvik crime novel, Silent Running and the competition to win a copy, which runs until 20 July.  More details on how to enter the competition here.

On Wednesday 15 July I'll be giving a talk to the members of Romsey U3A, again about how I write my crime novels.  This will be followed by a Q and A session and a book signing.

Also in July I'll be working on the outline plot of the third in the Art Marvik crime series, having sent number two in the series off to my publisher, Severn House.

I will also be working on the copy-edits for the new DI Andy Horton crime novel, number 12 in the series, FATAL CATCH which will be published in the UK on 28 September 2015 and in the USA in January 2016.
