What's on In May 2016 for crime author, Pauline Rowson

May sees the publication of the brand new marine crime novel, Dangerous Cargo, the second in the series featuring former Royal Marine Commando, Art Marvik, now attached undercover to the National Intelligence Marine Squad (NIMS).

Dangerous Cargo, will be published in hardcover in the UK by Severn House on 31 May 2016

Dangerous Cargo, the second in the Art Marvik marine crime series

For his second mission with NIMS Marvik is detailed to attend the funeral of a man who’d officially been declared dead fifty-five years earlier. So who is the imposter and why did he assume the name of a dead man? What’s more, why did he suddenly show up in a Dorset coastal town in 1989, hook up with a local fishing family, and after fathering a child, disappear in 1990?  Soon Marvik must confront a ruthless killer who will stop at nothing to make sure that the sins of the past stay in the past.

Silent Running, is the first Art Marvik marine thriller.

In May I will also be entertaining members of Odiham U3A (the University of the Third Age) with tales of crime, writing that is. I look forward to meeting them on Wednesday 4 May.

I also look forward to my next appearance on That's Solent TV.  I'll once again be talking to Chrissie Pollard about my crime novels and matters topical both national and local on Talk Solent, Freeview Channel 7 in the Solent area on Friday 20 May at 7.30pm. The show will be repeated  at 10pm and again on Saturday 21 May at 10am and 4pm.

I will also be continuing to write the third in the Art Marvik marine crime series as well as conducting lots of location research around the coast of Southern England.
