A Great Event


I have just returned from the Women Into Business conference, which was a great success. Seventy women turned up across all age ranges some who were already running businesses and others who were about to start, or were thinking of running their own business. It was a very inspiring morning with speakers including yours truly; Rachel Lowe, Managing Director of RTL Games, who spoke about her struggle to start her board games company and who is now extremely successful, and Sam McArthur of Forty-First, an Internet Marketing Consultant, who talked about e newsletters and the Internet.
There were also speakers from Havant Borough Council and Business Link, who organised and sponsored the event. I was delighted to talk to so many of the women there and pass on any tips and advice about marketing and building a business. And I was thrilled that so many bought my motivational books and my crime and thriller novels. Thank you very much. It was a great networking opportunity and a pleasure to be a speaker. When's the next one!
