Crime author Pauline Rowson on Angel Radio tomorrow at 10.00am talking about crime novels and CSI Portsmouth

I recorded two interviews with Tony Smith of Angel Radio (Havant) on Monday, and one of those interviews will be broadcast tomorrow, 7 October at 10am.

I am chatting to Tony about Footsteps on the Shore, my DI Horton marine mystery crime series, e books and the forthcoming CSI Portsmouth event on Saturday 5 November where crime fiction meets crime fact.

Angel Radio was first broadcast in February 1999 in Portsmouth. Now it broadcasts 24/7 on 101.1 FM in Havant and you can also listen to the programmes via the Internet. Angel Radio accentuates the positive aspects of being an older person, providing a radio station for older people to run themselves and is unique in that it specialises in records made before 1960. The station has a huge following across the ages and has listeners all over the World including Europe, Australia and the USA. It is well worth tuning into.

CSI Portsmouth is on 5 November at John Pounds Centre, Portsmouth and there is a great line of speakers including police and forensic experts.  Also with me on the crime author panel are best selling crime writers,Mark Billingham, John Harvey and Michael Ridpath.

See CSI Portsmouth 2011 for full details including programme, ticket prices and booking details.

The second interview I recorded with Tony was called 'Passing it on..' This is part of a community project sponsored by Portsmouth City Council and West Sussex County Council. I'm not sure when this will be broadcast but in that interview I am giving advice to those who wish to write a crime novel - passing on my knowledge.
